Update: Emittance measurements postprocessing made by Victor are in the attached powerpoint document. Preliminary conclusion: bad emittance could be due to some problems in the photoinjector gun.

Kevin solved problem with shutter.

Check alignment at QP3.

Check phase of the section, go to 1.35 dB. 

Libera4 reboot.

Measure  orbit.

Try to change frequency of synthe from 500 to 500.43 resulted in the change beam position in TL BPM2, but it should not do anythyng with TL. Same shift is observed at the screen in the same position.

The reflected wave from the RF gun seems too high. Trying to set it to 27°C, but the clarinet temperature rises to 30.4°C and does not change.

11h25 Kevin reloaded the RF gun chiller. All is OK

 

 

 

17h00 Beam is in the ring. Receipt was loaded from 10/04/2025 17:32, RCDS, Good storage, Orbit adjustment to measure bunch length with MRSV. There is the light on the camera. Receipt saved 09102025 17:07

Emittance measurements during the shift as well, at  QP1, QP2 QP3 with low charge 70pC(0.8 mm) normal charge 100pC(1.3mm) and (300pC)3mm : here we wanted to see the affect of asymetric laser beam as well. 
QP4-Scan also but scan is strange (and long ... 1s expo to see something)

    Revenu en état OPEN près quelque temps, un FaultAck sur l'ATKPannel à permit de revenur a un état normal -> problème reglé

Un nouvel état "OFF" dans health_check vas etre testé pour évité une erreur dans le cas d'un DS éteint ne génant pas le démarrage de la machine.

Modification frequence synchro. Modifications verifié, IHM à mettre à jours.

La machine a été décalé de + 50 µs.

(Le e-log ayant planté, dans la suite les horraires sont aproximatifs...)

18h : Le modulateur c'est éteint (mode OFF) sans raison apparente. Aucun interlock, aucune alarme, rien.

On a continuer a travailler sur les interfaces mais on a décidé de ne pas rallumer le modulateur à cause de la chauffe.


Bilan :

  • Correction des erreurs restante ci-dessous/Démarrer la machine
    -> l'accélérateur a fonctionné pendant quelques heures
  • Tester les modifications de l'interface sychro
    -> Tout fonctionne
  • Ajouter d'un nouvel état health check

  • Test tir unique en faisceau 
    -> Verrification de l'envoie des signaux de synchro en mode tire unique. Test avec faisceau a faire un autre jour.

Run pour travailller sur les alignements:

  • Phase de max de charge : 125°

Saut de phase sur la phase laser : voir le plot de BPM qui passe à zero quand on "perd" le faisceau du à un saut de phase.

La phase a shifté d'environs 60°

  • nouvelle phase de max de charge : 185° (elle semble bouger à nouveau)
  • nouvelle phase de max de charge : 195° (elle a bougé à nouveau ...)
  • nouvelle phase de max de charge : 202° ... 207° ..(elle a bougé à nouveau ...)

Nous avons fait des scans sur les moteurs des solénoides.

données disponibles sur  --> /data/shared/Commissioning_tools/Mesure/20211203/

nous avons réussi à diminuer l'amplitude du déplacement du centroide du faisceau en fonction du champ du solénoide.

Il faut maintenant alligner plus finement en vérifiant bien les limites des moteurs. A voir lundi.

- Pour les atténuateurs : les butées ont été trouvées, ATT02-MOT01 c'est la canon, ATT01-MOT01 c'est la section.

- Des difficultés ont été rencontrés avec le modulateur : Interlock à cause de l'eau, interlock alim HT, reboot modulateur et vérification de l'autorisation de tir MPS faite.

Le modulateur fonctionne maintenant sans problèmes à une tension de 1240V et un vide klystron de 1.2 uA qui devrait diminuer par la suite. Les mesures radioprotection ont été faites

- Pour le MPS, cliquez sur Paramètres en bas de l'écran principal puis vérifier que LINAC est on.

Pour demain :

- Démarrer régulation eau en plus du modulateur

- Vérifier les signaux RFs sur oscillo et Réglage des retards (demarrage_delays)

- Ne pas mettre beaucoup de puissance, vérifier la chaine RF et vérifier les atténuateurs

- Vérifier caméra et ICT

- L'énergie du laser mesurée à 60 uJ après alignement sur la table optique. Faisceau laser non visible sur la camera qu'on ne peut pas passer en trigger externe.

- Problèmes avec les Icepap réglés pour les moteurs du laser

- Le modulateur fonctionne, à valider avec la valeur de travail 1000 ou 1090V

- Impossible de voir les signaux RFs sur l'interface avec les redpitayas (malgré un re-démarrage)

- Problèmes de réglage de la synchro : DS qui ne redémarre pas, le chargement de recette a chargé les valeurs mais ne les a pas validées. La mise à jour faite ensuite pour valider les valeurs a affiché des valeurs non voulues.

- Le DS laser ne fonctionne pas, le ping laser amplitude fonctionne

Viktor a joué sur le transport du laser. La distribution s'est nettement améliorée car on ne doit plus passer par la zone endomagée du hublot.

pas de mesure d'énergie pour le moment. On va essayer de tourner un peu avec ce faisceau.

Petit point à comprendre :

si on aligne bien le laser alors lorsqu'on fait varier la phase autour de la phase de charge max, le barycentre du faisceau ne doit pas changer. Or il semble que les données BPM et SST1 ne soient pas cohérents.
nous allons reprendre des données, BPM et SST1 ensemble pour s'en convaincre.

1) nous allons affiner l'allignement, il reste un petit facteur sur un des axes. Ici c'est l'axe Y. 

18h50 : Modulateur OFF .... angry Tempo : 10-15 min au lieu d'1h ... indecision c'est une amélioration mais faut comprendre pourquoi il est passé OFF

19h15 : Modulateur OFF ... broken heart Tempo : Passe de qq secondes à qq minutes ... pourquoi ça augmante ? rien a faire ça reste sur OFF ... J'arrete @19h25
