8H50-demarrage chiller et chauffage klystron
* Laser réaligné avec phase (foc max) et (foc max -3deg).
- Comparaisson avant (Xlaser = 3.97mm/Ylaser = 1.88mm) et après (Xlaser = 4.95mm/Ylaser = 2.35mm) en P.J avec les screenshots.
Attention, la phase de foc max avait drifté de 3deg pendant l'alignement, les images prise après sont avec background substraction.
- Position LI/BPM.01 sans steerer : X = 1.2mm, Y = 1.8mm
- Solenoïde 234A (cf. e-log du 27/02/2023) Phase Canon-Laser (foc max - 50deg). Mesure d'énergie = 5.18MeV, mesure position LI/BMP.01 : X = 1.7mm, Y = 1.1mm (revoir alignement solénoïde)
* Passage section (1.8dB, phase 110deg)
- Les BPM saturent (cf. screenshot) ==> on change le power (-57 à -10)
- Steerer à revoir à cause du point laser procedure pour réalignement (utilisation script KD de minimisation du déplacement en fonction du PQ) :
1) LI/STR.01 sur QP.01
2) TL/STR.01 sur QP.03
3) rafinement avec valeur de QP.01 à QP.03 et atténuation section OK
==> cf. recette générale : recipe_recipe_LI_TL_RI_good_20230228_16_51_45.txt
- Position BPM une fois aligné : LI/BPM.01 : X = 0mm, Y = 1.7mm, TL/BPM.01 : X = 0.2mm, Y = -0.2mm
- Mesure énergie sortie Linac (soléno à 200A) : Calib (28.7/28.6 um/pixel) on obtient 50.4 MeV
* Passage TL :
- TL/BPM.02 saturé également cf. image, la puissance est réajusté (-58 à -10)
- Alignement Horizontal sans QUAD. Pas de désalignement horizontal lorsque TL/BPM.02 X = 0mm TL/BPM.03 et TL/BPM.04 ~ 0mm ==> les paire de dipôles font bien à 90°
- Alignement des QUAD :
QP.04 : Ajustement du dipôle pour être sur l'axe mag horizontal ==> dipôle 159.3A à ~ 159.1A, aligné avec QP.01 à QP.03 verticalement
QP.05 : Ajustement avec QP.04 aligné (DP = 159.1A), TL/STR.02 : H = -8A et V = -4.3A
QP.06 : TL/STR.02 : H = -3/-5A et V = -4.7A (difficile en horizontal pour cause de saute en énergie)
* Passage LE (on s'aligne dans QP.04 et QP.05, cf. recette générale) ==> utilisation des valeurs de QP.01 à QP.07 de la recette de Christelle du 27/02/2023 :
- On rentre dans la LE immédiatement avec EL/DPE = -7.4A et EL/DP = 159.3A ==> alignement pour utiliser EL/DPE = -7.72A (l'alignement se fait sur EL/BPM.01 afin que EL/DPE ne produise plus de shift vertical avec le changement de courant)
- faisceau intense et visible avec EL/SST.01 à 1s et gain 1dB. ==> caméra EL/SST.01 mal triguée il faut passer à 0.1s pour voir le faisceau
- Valeur des EL/QP ajusté la main pour avoir un faisceau bien focalisé (cf. photo) ==> cf. recette générale du jour
- Fin du shift, machine plutôt stable (cf. screenshot BPM)
==> energie finale 49.1MeV (soleno à 200A), et au dipôle 159.3A ==> TL/BPM.02 : X = 0mm ==> pas de shift en énergie
==> phase shift d'environ 10 deg (cf. courbe).
** Remarques Générales **
- Variation importante de la puissance en sortie Klystron en fonction de la phase caon/Laser. ==> Vincent est en cours d'investigation (surment problème de saturation du PA)
- "Grande" variation de puissance Klystron quelques mm sur TL/BPM.02 ==> correction avec l'atténuation du klystron de quelque 0.01dB (1.8dB -> 1.98dB). En fin de shift c'était beaucoup plus stable plus de reprise de l'attenuation (1.98dB)
- Pas de point de fonctionnement stable plus qu'un autre en fonction (atténuateur et HV modulateur)
==> cf différentes images du jour.
- Idipole = 158.5A, TL/BPM.02 : X = 5mm
- Idipole = 159A, TL/BPM.02 : X = 1.8mm
- Idipole = 159.8A, TL/BPM.02 : X = -4mm

Beam is stored (sligth decay) in the ring around 15 minutes without touching anything. This opens way for beam dynamics studies and for better understanding of machine. Need to find a way to have diagnostics data (trigger only diag) in such mode.

Since Friday evening the problem to store the beam at 70 MeV. There is 1 turn only. Probably some subsystem failure. At this moment the reason is not found. Help is needed: synchronization/Diag/Magnets.
Today morning the same situation. We came back to 50 MeV and the problem remains.
We checked dipoles with resistors, it looks fine. We are checking synchronization and laser, Diag delays.....
We found the problem is with kicker. looking now at this with Maher. The max value it accepts is 2500 V.
12h20 Maher wil restart the kicker at the hardware level. Maher is contacting SOLEIL.
12h30 The modulator has been set to standby mode.
Investigation of the problem with injection kicker.
Tomorrow tests with SOLEIL people.
