LA CFP est en pompage avec les vannes ouvertes : CFP et anneau en contact vide = 1e-7 mbar

L'anneau coté IP est fermée et sous pompage - vide = 8e-9 mbar

Un redémarrage linac est possible.

Lorsqu'il y a une coupure de courant la pompe PP1 remet une valeur d'interlock par défaut qui n'avait pas été modifié

Jean-Noel et les personnes du vide ont modifié ce seuil

A 3 dB, 100A, passage à 10 Hz sans problèmes avec le changement de seuil d'interlock de PP1

Passage à 0.25 dB par palier, I = 100A , 10 Hz

As yesterday there is a problem with the MPS to start the machine. We are trying to investigate whether it is related to the vacuum or something else.

Problem with the solenoid COL.01 (Internal Interlock Hard).

Help is needed.

At this moment, apparently we are blocked by the closed vacuum valve of the FPC. To be checked with Nourredine (emails sent).

The vaccum level in the FPC is not yet good to open the valve. Eric will check it.

10h10 Switched to the Linac+TL+EL configuration. HV is on (the modulator was in the local mode). Interlocks even at HV 1200 V, the sect att. 3 dB. Linac 04 vac is high.  

10h33 There are breakdowns at 26 dB the section att. and 25 dB of the RF gun att. These are not in vacuum breakdowns. Probably it is the klystron problem.

10h50 The modulator is in the standby mode.

Maher is coming to check the klystron and Jean-Noel is working on the solenoid power supplies.

11h40 Maher fixed problem with the klystron by increasing the filament power. At 84 kV, I = 48.7 A (microperveance 2.0). At 293 kV, I = 294 A (microperveance 1.85, should be 2.0).

12h03 The machine configuration without FP closes the photocathode laser shuter, so we can operate only in the Linac+TL+EL configuration.

At the moment maximum charge is 135 pC with irise Ø of 1.3 mm  (possibly because the laser photocathode shutter is in the wrong position)

13h25 The modulator is in standby mode. Maher can remove the MPS short.

The problem with MPS is the OC/AVAL02 FP valve. It is in two states at the same time: Closed and Open.

Following:

1) a crash on 4th of April and a violent reboot of the ELLiOOs embeded machine

2) the need to recover the whole database files in the ELLiOOs embeded machine

the ElliOOs sofware was running back quickly. Though recently (in terms of working and available days) was reported that the tango DS was not communicating.

The reason why stayed misterious.

Following calls to Amplitude Laser (Vianney) last week and, today, a callabck from SCARELL (Romain and Jean-François), it is now understood that :

- the content of the data repository corresponding to the Tango gateway was not dynamically created (~/bin/ElliOOs/User/Data/28*/*). The specific file that was missing since the 5th of arpil reeboot was Plugin.sml.

Recovering this file and properly rebooting the embedded machine (from the ElliOOs programme running on the HOST, in the System Info --> reboot embedded), allowed to revoer the com.

Indeed it was checked by looking at jive by Falcoz.

An archive of the Code repository was done in case it is required to recover these files again. Archive sent to SCARELL.

Please remember to reboot the embeded in case there is a reoboot of TANGO machine in the main control room or if the database is reset.

Please also note that trying to look at the content of the TANGO_HOST variable in superuser or default user will not help in understanding if tango is running locally.

By looking at the BPM transmission tool one can see that there is more charge on TL/BP.03 than on TL/BPM.02 (see attached image).

The BPM seetings have been checked and they are similar.

One can see a similar effect when comparing TL/ICT.01 and TL/ICT.02.

Possible interpretation: the beam is scrapping the beam pipe and creating a shower of secondaries.

Après enormément d'interlock vide sur la PP1, le Klystron n'émet plus rien.

Tout semble OK :

- Aucune erreur ou interlocks (PSS et MPS)

- Camera SST en acquisition

- Laser OK

- le Klystron est en trig et débite du courant (252 KV, 259.24 A), verifié sur place, pas d'erreur

Mais aucun signaux à l'oscilloscope, pourquoi ?? Slava suppose que c'est le timming machine...

sans signal j'éteinds tout.
