The 2 lenses are to be tested in PLIC room.
We currently have one controller for one of the lenses, Daniele is ordering the second one.
The software to drive the lens is from Optotune called "Lens Driver Controller", easy to download, already have the software on the computer ready to connect to the controler

We are able to connect the pc soft to the lens and control its vergence and measure the value of the vergence using a method Daniele developed.

The fiber replacement has arrived for the amplifier.
This fiber connects the head of the amplifier and the controller.
This broken fiber caused variations of the power at the output of the fiber just before the controller, causing the CRI errors in Alphanov's LAL software.
Issue should be solved when fiber is replaced.

2 weeks ago, Daniele changed the fiber connecting the amplifier box to the controller rack.
Then he turned the amplifier on for around 3 hours @ P=0% and 10mins @ P=10% with no errors

Today New 16 mirrors arrived from LAM of 2 sets of 8
8 for KBox , 8 for ThomX.
The images included show only 8 but under each one there is another box so 16.
all mirrors are placed in PLIC room for the momnent. |

The Clean Air Flow filtering unit installed.
The prefilters have not been changed since installation, an order for a new set of prefilters will be made to change them. !!!!!!!!!
For regular maintenance:
The Prefilters must be cleaned every 3 - 6 months, depending on their condition.
The process is to clean them by handwashing in water with a mild detergent or by using a vacuum cleaner.
Allow prefilter to dry completely before replacing. |
